Common Errors in Linux (and the amelioration there of)
I cant get Moneydance to Install
If you are getting this error message:
Could not open the file/home/USERNAME/Desktop/moneydance_linux_x86wj.sh
Moneydance doesnt have permission to install. By default most versions of linux require you to give permission explicitly. The easiest way to do that (ie not chmoding it) would be to right click and sellecting something that sounds like "allow executable file as program"
Printing is not working
Printing in linux can sometimes fail due to a well known bug in CUPS handling. Unfortunately no one has shown any initiative in fixing this error on a permanent basis for all users. However there is an established method for fixing this permanently for individual users. Users that wish to do so should visit this site.
