balance predictor includes *past* reminders?!

balance predictor includes reminders that have already passed in it's calculation. I don't know how it can be useful if it can't take the current balance and apply only future reminders. Here's how I'm using it:

dummy account has a starting balance of $0 so I can predict the change in my net worth.

I enter all my expected spending as reminders that do not commit any funds so balance remains $0

I expected that it would add all future reminders to my current balance in this account, but it continues to predict from the earliest reminder date *and* if I edit a past reminder and change the date to the future, the effect of the previous reminder on the prediction remains.
