tab key does not tab to next row in splits

Description

Hi Sean

When I open a multi-line split, the tab key will not scroll into the fields on the next line. If I tab from the first field to the last in the first line of ths splut, and then hit the tab key a few more times, it just goes back to the beginning of the same line.

It would be nicer if the tabbing worked so that:

a) If there already was more than one line in the split, then tabbing past the end of the first line would jump to the first field of the next line, until there were no more lines, when...

b) If the tab key reaches the end of the bottom-most line, then tabbing past the end automatically enters a new line.

This would make it much quicker to enter lines - all the user would need to do is to tab from field to field, adding new lines as required only with the tab key, until done. Shift-tab obviously should reverse the direction.

I think this would improve entry of splits consderably.

Thanks, Chris.

Amen! What a wonderful idea. I was looking for a way to complain about having to click on "Done" to exit the split, but I also have wanted what Chris is asking for but didn't realize it. I have one difference I would make. We already have Ctrl-N for a new split line. I think the final Tab should goto the "Done" button. Then I could press "Enter" from there to exit the split without having to touch that !#$@!# mouse.

Additionally I noticed in 518 that if you open a split for the first time, the cursor starts (ready) in the description field. Good. BUT, go cmd-N to make a new split - I can't then just start typing into description, I have to click first!!! ct

Yes, please make the splits dialog mouse-free / more keyboard friendly!
