In addition to the account option to "Hide On Home Page (If Balance Is Zero)", Moneydance needs a "Hide In All Lists" or "Hide Everywhere" option for accounts AND securities.
Old accounts and/or securities should be able to be hidden in all lists. Some accounts are closed, or securities which I never plan on buying or selling again still show up in places where they just take up space.
If set, this should prevent these accounts and securities from being displayed in any list.
On a related note,it would also be nice if the "Edit Account" screen (which needs to be able to show ALL securities/account in order to hide/unhide them) had it's own option to "Show/Hide Hidden Accounts". Currently there is no way to display or print just the "current" list of accounts from the "Edit Accounts" window. That is, there is no way to not print old accounts or securities when printing the list of accounts.
Another possible benefit is that you could make the Stock Quote Synchronizer ignore "Hidden" accounts.
