Online session problems (error 15510)

Reported by: luis-tux Assigned to: sreilly
Priority: critical Milestone: Moneydance 2008
Component: onlinebanking Version: 2008.beta
Keywords: Cc:

Description

I believe this error started just after I upgraded to the new version of moneydance. In any case, I could not find any information on this error message.

Here's the exact error message: "There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below.

The error code reported by the server was: 15510 There was a problem with your online session. If the problem continues, contact your financial institution to resolve it. Or, perform a one-step update to receive the latest version of your software."

I have not been able to sign into my account for about a week, and I have asked my bank to reset my password to make sure it was correct.

Thanks

Not sure if you got the last reply:

The institution is Zions Bank. I have reset my password with the bank and they verified my login info is correct.

I am also getting this same error (15510) with MoneyDance when trying to connect to Zions Bank. I am using Ubuntu 7.1, MoneyDance 2007r5 (587), and Java 1.5.0_11. I don't know if it helps, but I found a discussion on the forums that talk about this error here. In the fifth post, someone posted a screenshot of this error, which is the exact same error I am getting. Also another post mentions that this error means a CLIENTID is not registered. The last time I was able to connect was March 19, 2008. When I tried to connect about a week later, I started getting this error. I don't think this error is related to the upgrade that the user mentions above. For me, it worked one day and the next it started giving this error. Please let me know if there is any more information I can provide or clarify. Thanks!

I have recently upgraded to the newest version of MoneyDance as of 5/13/08. I tried both the Linux and Windows versions of MoneyDance. I get the same 15510 error no matter which version I use.

I also have this problem. I've contacted zions bank and they upgraded their online banking solution and I believe it is now locking out users who are not either ms money or quicken. I've had this problem for over 2-3 months now and it doesn't appear that anything is going to happen.

I've had to resort to stepping back and doing my reconcilation, my transaction entry and all manually. It is almost not worth it to keep using either zions or moneydance at this point.

As an update, I have also upgraded to version 2008r2 and I am still getting the same error.
