[moneydance] Deleting some transactions doesn't work...

I agree that the way you are fixing it in the next release is not a good
idea. From the "split side" of the transaction, the user may not be aware of
the other splits that will be caught up in the delete.
I'm fine with your preferred behaviors a) and b). In those cases,
the behavior is intuitive, and the user can see all the transactions that
are involved.
For c), I agree with removing just the split transaction, but I think you
should first display an OK/Cancel alert to warn the user that the
transaction they are deleting is part of a split, since that won't be
obvious. If some users would rather not be warned, you could add a
preference checkbox like "Ask before deleting a split transaction from the
split side".
