I'm using a java that came with MD...

Java version "1.6.0" 
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0-b105)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.6.0-b105, mixed mode, sharing)

This is under kubuntu...  it's the first time I have had a MD version of Java 
work for printing.

Oh....  there have been many complaints...  and usually it *is* the java 
version.

I used to use  Blackdown  1.4  when Sun 1.5 or 1.6  wouldn't work.
