[moneydance] capital gains report

I'm using build 609, capital gains report is much more useful than in the
stable version - but...

I have a buy/sell pair, details below:
15 Jan 2007, Buy 123 units of XYZ, buy price $4.09, with $29.95 in brokerage
fees
22 Jan 2007, Sell 123 units of XYZ, sell price $4.09, with $24.95 in
brokerage fees

As you can see I'm roughly $55 behind

I've noticed that the capital gains report:

1: doesn't seem to include the exit brokerage fees - for the above capital
event my report shows me "-29.95" -- I'd expect $-54.90.

2: date filtering doesn't seem to work - the above capital loss shows up if
I say "this year" or "this month". What I need is to be able to filter on
the sell dates -that's when the taxation comes into play
(while we're at it, can we have "this"/"last" "financial year" date
selections?) That would be very nice.

3: The header "Sale/Current Value" -- what does "Current value" have to do
with this? I'm guessing it's a label bug?

Lastly, as a general observation, it would be nice if MD could seperate the
short term capital gains from long term ( >= 12 months) gains.
