[moneydance] Howto "Transfer between accounts" ?

One example would be paying Credit Cards. When you put charges on the credit card, you select the expense category for the goods you are purchasing. But then when you pay the credit card (say from your checking account), you would go into your checking account, and enter a transaction, and choose the credit card account as the Category.
Another example might be a savings account. If you deposit/transfer money from your checking account into your savings account, you would go into your checking account, and select the savings account as the category. Note, you can do the reverse also, transfer money from your savings account to the checking account.

Hello Gordon.
Thanks very much for your instruction.
I tried making a test money transfer with another account in the
Category field and it worked! When I deleted the test transfer it
deleted on the other account also.
Could you give me an example where this facility might be used?
Larry
