[moneydance] How to safely delete transactions

I recently downloaded some investment data as a .ofx or .qfx file into 
my Joint account in MD by mistake.  It was intended for my Investment 
account.

Now the Joint account is full of investment transactions.

I'm not sure if transactions on one account are truly separate from 
another account and I'm afraid to delete anything so important as this.

Can I safely delete these transactions from my Joint account without 
affecting my Investment account?
