[moneydance] How to split a transaction??

I've just upgraded to build 606. 

After clicking on "New Transaction," right-clicking on it has no effect
(except that doing it on the date pops up the cool new calendar) until
after the transaction is recorded.

After the transaction is recorded, right-clicking brings up a menu, but I
don't find "Split Transaction" anywhere...

Am I missing something?
