[moneydance] Dividend Reinvestment

This, to me, has been the most significant feature absent from
Moneydance. This would be a valuable addition, and I eagerly download
each update with the hope that this has been added. Our current
profit / loss numbers provided are useless in gauging investment
performance, as they are inaccurate.

Of course, both are quite necessary, so we're not advocating the
replacement but instead it is necessary to use two numbers, a
principal investment basis and then a stepped up tax cost basis (from
Capital Gain and Dividend distributions). The latter is the
information currently provided, and both of these obviously apply to
both funds and individual stocks.

Sean, if you have any questions about what we're requesting, I'd be
glad to provide any further details (just send me an email).
