[moneydance] Release 2008 problem

I seem to have encountered a problem with the latest
Moneydance.

I am running Mondance 2008 (606), using Apple Java 1.50-13.

All this is on a PowerMac G5 running OSX 10.5.2

Updating stock prices fails. It shows the first stock it is
trying to retrieve for and then the status line at the bottom
just goes blank. Update does not occur.

Suggestions? I've already gotten onto Yahoo Finance to make
sure I can still get to it and that works fine from a browser.

Also, accessing the stock price updates has changed from earlier
versions of MD. It used to be there was an icon in the top left
which had as one of the drop-down items Stock Update. This is
gone; now you have to use the Extensions and get to it that way.
This change seems to me to be arbitrary; it just makes things
different for those of us used to the "old way" and if there's an
advantage to that I don't see it.

Another minor bitch--the fonts used throughout MD are now smaller
than they used to be. This is a strong negative for me; 70-year old
eyes and cataracts do NOT like smaller fonts!
