Once your typical expenses have been entered into Moneydance, the
process of manual entry usually comes down to:  Enter the first couple
of characters of the name, until MD recognizes it, hit Tab, enter the
amount (if it's different from what you spent last time), verify that
the category looks right, then press Enter.  Repeat for next receipt.

I don't see that the process of data entry must necessarily stop just
because you can't download.
