Sean,

I downloaded the linux installer with and without java, but on both I 
get the following error when either is executed:

libxcb: WARNING! Program tries to unlock a connection without having 
acquired
        a lock first, which indicates a programming error.
        There will be no further warnings about this issue.
libxcb: WARNING! Program tries to lock an already locked connection,
        which indicates a programming error.
        There will be no further warnings about this issue.

I redirected the "jre" in the download to the jre already installed on 
my machine; I get the same error, but Moneydance proceeds to load and is 
functional. 

Any ideas?
