Help !! Please tell me I'm crazy !! or dumb or..  just tell me I'm wrong but
I haven't been able to make sense out of some of my imported liability
accts.

THIS is REAL SCARY !!  On win2kpro - MD rel 587

So I made a test asset account - test-a, and 2 test liability accts-
test-L1,test-L2.
I deposited (debit) (Increase) (right column)  to test-a charging it (in
category) to test-L1 ie (credit) (Increase) (Ooops- should be right column -
under increase)

Open test-L1 - there it is !!!   The amount is in the decrease (left column)
- balance in detail line has a minus sign and in read, balance in acct
heading is minus also.

So here's a great scenario - YOU give me a thousand dollars or better yet
Euros !!
My assets go up $1000, My liabliity is decreased by $1000,  YEAaaaaaa...

Assets - Liability =  X
$1000  - (-1000) =  $2000  Yeaaa....  ;=}

Please tell me I'm out of my mind - I've spengt TOO much time adjusting
import problems, to give up!!

Or tell me it's just a missing (-) sign and all data is ok - and easy to
fix.

Or I'm completely off base as I'm not the only one to use liability accts!

Asset  Liab  Equity Income Expense
   +        -         -         -            +
debit incr + acct
credit incr - acct
Thus
debit decr - acct
credit decr + acct

Please.. please.... please....
