There is already what I consider to be a much better option
available: RSS feeds for trac. It is how I keep track of issues that
are submitted and wiki changes. To get the RSS feed, go here:
http://moneydance.com/trac/timeline
Then select the check boxes for the changes/events you want to see and
click the Update button. For the types of changes you can select from
Milestones (not really used), Ticket changes (including new tickets),
repository checkins (more on this later) and wiki changes. Once
you've selected what you want to view, click the RSS Feed link at the
bottom (or the RSS icon in Safari's address bar) to open the feed in
your preferred RSS reader. On Mac OS X I use Vienna (http://www.opencommunity.co.uk/
) to for my RSS feeds.
It is possible to create another mailing list, but using RSS is much
cleaner because it allows personalization as to the type of
information you want to receive and there's no risk of spam, etc.
