I often use my financial records to answer non-financial questions. As in
other contexts, I "follow the money."
For example, I was trying to scan and sort some old photos and came across
some from a family reunion in Cape Cod. I wasn't completely sure when that
was, so I opened Moneydance and ran a few simple searches and had my answer
in no time.
I come across situations like that all the time.
So I really like having immediate access to all those old transactions. I
don't notice any hit in performance at all.
