For the first couple of years I used the "archive" facility once I knew that I 
no longer needed frequent access to the previous years file.  It was quite 
simple but on each occasion I found that it wasn't very accurate and one or 
two entries ended up in the wrong year.  Since then laziness has meant that I 
have one long file.
