I know that feeling.  I used Quicken before Moneydance, and really
didn't want to switch, but wanted off Windows.  At the moment I am
actually leaning pretty heavily toward switching again (this time to
GnuCash), but for the moment I still have everything current in
Moneydance.  I've been using Moneydance for years, but there are some
quirks of its interface that drive me batty.  (I suppose that could be
Java/AWT as much as it is Moneydance, but the end result is the same.)
