[moneydance] Moneydance 2008 (606) and Compiz problem

I too have seen the problem with the mouse position being incorrect with MD
running under Hardy beta 32bit. I resolved that with solution #6 that I
proposed in this thread:
http://moneydance.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1207757492/0#1

However, that solution resulted in weird behavior in the import/export
dialogs (but this was less of a problem than the prior issues, so I stuck
with this resolution).

However, overall, MD 2008 feels inferior to MS Money 2003 and I have almost
resigned myself to keep a Windows machine around to run Money for my
personal finances. I really dislike Money, but MD feels like a step
backwards to me. That's a disappointment because my goal is to stop using
Windows.
