[moneydance] Does anyone else have a problem with this user interface behavior?

One of the most aggravating behaviors that MD has for me is the following:
I'm entering an investment transaction (it could be a transaction in any
account, I suppose). I've entered most of the data, and my mouse pointer
strays outside the transaction box when I click. Maybe I pulled up the
category popup menu, and it collapsed just as I clicked, so I clicked
outside the transaction box. When this happens, MD gives me only two
options: save the (incomplete) transaction, or discard all the changes
completely. Why can't there be a third option - to ignore the click outside
the box and keep the transaction open for editing, so I don't have to start
it over again? As a programmer myself, this seems like a simple and obvious
option. Am I missing something here? It would sure make the program a lot
friendlier for me.
