[moneydance] account specific categories

I'm using Moneydance 2008 (build 603) and I'm wondering if there is a
way to create account specific categories. Or at least hide some categories.

The specific scenario is using Moneydance to track both personal and
business finances, where most categories are used for personal finances
and should be visible to most account, but a couple of the accounts are
exclusive to the business (a checking account and a cash account), and
ideally should only see a small subset or a separate set of categories.

A related problem is generating reports for the two different entities.
It's easy enough to create a custom report where you specifically select
a subset of the categories to cover, but this tends to require
constant maintenance, as any categories added since the report was
created will be excluded.

Another poster today mentioned the idea of tagging categories as
personal or for a specific business, but I don't recall seeing such an
ability on the category creation dialog. It seems the better way to come
at this problem is from the account perspective, so you generate a
report for all categories, but only transactions for the selected
accounts. I saw some reports permitted selecting accounts, but not the
reports I wanted to use (income and expenses by category). They only
permitted category selection.
