[moneydance] Update problem

Hi Gervase,

I know this isn't what you want (an automatic update) but here is how I
upgraded from 2007 to 2008 on Ubuntu 7.10:

- Download "Linux (x86 processor, does not include Java)" since you already
have java if you're running MD'07.
- figure out where MD'07 is installed. For me it's in /opt/moneydance/,
hopefully it is in the same place for you (that's the default install
   location)
- backup your existing MD'07 install, "just in case." I deleted the backup
   after a week or so.
   - sudo cp -R /opt/moneydance /opt/moneydance.2007
- go to wherever you downloaded the MD'08 file (this assumes your Desktop)
and extract it from the tar file:
   - cd ~/Desktop
   - gzip -d Moneydance_linux_x86.tar.gz
   - tar xvf Moneydance_linux_x86.tar
- that will create ~/Desktop/Moneydance/, with all the MD'08 files
- copy them over your existing install:
   - sudo cp -R ~/Desktop/Moneydance/* /opt/moneydance/
- run Moneydance the same way you normally do: you should have the newest
   version.
