[moneydance] Update problem

My updater still does not kick in and when I check for updates I am told that 
my version 587 is still the latest version.  Can I expect the updater 
eventually to work or is the 2008 version such a substantial revision that we 
have to install again from scratch?

That's the problem.  I have been unable to re-install from scratch following 
the instructions on the website.  I was hoping that the updater would do it 
for me, as in the past.
