[moneydance] Iphone

Where I found PocketQuicken and Quicken syncing useful was when I traveled for work and had to track personal and business expenses while on the road. I could just put it right there and have my totals even away from home. The other time it was useful is while on vacation, and not having to deal with a pile of receipts once I got home. I now use a spreadsheet on the PDA to make it easier, but would love to see a PDA version of MD to just make it simple again. I do think that investment type things would be too much for PDA work (I've met people who wanted that) mobile entry is a good option to have.

As Hans suggests in his reply, if this is going to take development off of the core product I'd rather not see it right now.

I don't have an iPhone, but I have at various times in the past tried
to mesh my personal finance data entry with my use of PDAs, and I've
always found that I'm not anal-retentive enough to want to record the
level of detail that would necessitate entering that information on a
PDA. YMMV, of course, but personally I don't see the point, and I'd
rather have the good people at MoneyDance focus their energy and time
at improving the core software.
