This can happen with OFX if your bank uses duplicate transaction
IDs. If a transaction ID from the OFX/QFX file is already associated
with a transaction in your register then moneydance assumes it was
already downloaded from an overlapping file.
It is possible to check this manually by doing the following:
1. opening the downloaded OFX file in a text editor
2. find the FITIDs (Financial Institution Transaction Identifier)
of suspect transactions
3. export your data from Moneydance into a Moneydance/XML file
4. open the XML file in a text editor
5. search for the FITIDs from step 2 in the XML file
Or you could email the above files to me (not the list!) and I could
check it out for you, deleting the information when finished.
Thanks,
Sean
