[moneydance] Can MD work with a Schwab account?

I successfully setup Schwab for online access.
All transactions I have made since the account was opened last month 
were downloaded directly to MD and they appear to be correct.

There are some things I don't understand yet, but it's only a matter of 
details now.

The mistake I made trying to setup online access before,
was I opened the new account, clicked on Online > Set up online banking
and saw only my regular bank account which was setup years ago.
It took a while before I realized I had to click on New Connection which 
gave me access to what I needed to setup Schwab.

I have a further question.  The Schwab download of securities gave the 
full name of each security.  Where should I enter the actual ticker 
symbol?  Is it possible to enter both the full name of a security and 
the ticker symbol?  Should I setup a _category_ for each symbol?
