[moneydance] Incorrect cost basis value in investment register

I have an investment account that has been totally in cash for about 6
months. Today I purchased two securities:

Security A
8 shares @ $35.74
principal = $285.92
$7 commission
Net Amount = $292.92

Security B
4 shares @ $152.98
principal = $611.92
$7 commission
Net Amount = $618.92

That's the way I entered these these Buys in the account register.

When I look at the portfolio view, I see:

Security A
Price = 35.74
Shares = 8.0000
Cost Basis = 299.93
% Change = -4.67
Current Value = 285.92

Security B
Price = 152.98
Shares = 4.0000
Cost Basis = 618.92
% Change = -1.13
Current Value = 611.92

The current price for each stock was still the purchase price, since I
hadn't updated for the closing prices yet.

I'm trying to figure out why the Cost Basis for Security A is shown as
$299.93, when it should be $292.92. It is almost as if the $7 fee was
added twice. The Security B Cost Basis seems to be calculated
correctly, though it was entered the same way. The Cost Basis of each
security is displayed the same in the Security Detail screen.

The only difference I can see between these two securities is that I
had owned 8 shares of Security A earlier in the year, purchased on
2007-01-22 for $276.08 and sold (all 8 shares) on 2007-03-08 for
$268.32. This is my first purchase of Security B.

Any idea what is going on here?
