I find the "Expenses Graph" (File > Preferences... > Home Page >
Expenses Graph) on the home page very handy.  I flip it back and forth
between income and expense frequently.

I suggest that a subsequent release of MD allow for multiple (or at
least 2) copies to be on the home page simultaneously.  I have plenty of
room on my home page, and being able to see both Income and Expenses
displayed at the same time would be very convenient.
