Hi Paul,
It is possible because I installed Moneydance after upgrading my PC
recently to Kubuntu 7.10. However, I did have problems initially. On the
net, someone recommended installing java first and then Moneydance
without Java, afterwards.
I have sun-java6-jre installed which I installed separately first using
apt-get. I also downloaded the latest version of Moneydance. In Ubuntu /
Kubuntu, you have to make sure that the permissions of the shell script
file are executable. Then, just clicking on the file should kick off the
installer.
I hope this helps.
regards
Viv
