Your subject line says Liability / Loan. Which account type did you
choose when setting it up?

Liability accounts are very barebones, feature-wise. It is pretty much
just a register which you can insert transactions into. There are no
payment scheduling features.

Loan accounts, however, do have features for scheduling payments. I'm
guessing that you chose Liability, though, which is why you don't see
the features.

If you have only just set up the account, hopefully there is very little
data in it, so you would not have to redo anything. Also, if you create
the Loan account alongside the Liability account, you can go to the
other side of the transactions and change them to point to the Loan
account instead, so you won't have to reenter anything. Hopefully, only
a few transactions have been set up so far, so it would not take long.

If you have an account type of "Loan," however, and you still don't see
the payment scheduling features, I am at a loss. You should see it by
pressing Actions and seeing the option "Payment Reminder."
