[moneydance] Changing location of MD files

I was something of a Linux newbie when I first installed Moneydance and 
accepted most of the default settings.  As a result all my files are stored 
in /home/myname/Documents.  I would prefer to have them in a separate folder.

I have changed the location of the backup files through "preferences" but I 
can see no way for changing the location of the working files.

Any help appreciated.
