You can say that again!!! I have a Quicken data file which was probably
originally corrupted by changing screen size without closing the
program, but it has resisted all attempts to fix it. Validate,
Supervalidate, Copy and even updating from Quicken 2004 to 2006 have not
fixed the root problem. A year and a half ago, I actually started a new
file from scratch and imported most of the old data into it. It still
p***** on itself sooner or later. That's why I use MD. My wife wants
to continue to struggle with the Q program, because she knows that I'll
fix it when it chokes.

I too started with the Q program in DOS days, and some of the quirks it
had than continue to exist in the 2006 version. Problem #92 of ??? is
Inconsistent and irrational GUI, including defining keystrokes
inconsistent with the operating system abound.
