I have three accounts with one bank.  MoneyDance lists them as follows:

Big Bank                    6600.00
    Big Bank Checking 2200.00
    Big Bank Savings    2200.00
    Big Bank CD           2200.00

The first entry shows the total balance in Big Bank; the next three 
entries (children) give the breakdown.

Get the idea now?
