[moneydance] Program stops responding - semi-repeatable (build 576)

For some time now (over the last several builds, at least), I've had a
problem where Moneydance will stop responding, and I have to force-quit it.
And I think I know how to make it happen (MOST of the time).

Here's what I do:

I right-click on an investment account to open the portfolio in a new
window. I switch to the Securities Detail tab, click on Add Security, then
click on New Security in the dialog that opens. In the new dialog that then
appears, I enter the information about the new security.

Then I click OK, which takes me back to the previous dialog, where after a
short delay, the new security name appears in the popup. I then enter the
broker name, and select Stock from the Type popup.

At this point the OK button is throbbing in that window (this is on a Mac
with OS X 10.4.10). I click on the OK button. My data file is pretty big
(and my iMac G4 800 is pretty slow), so there can be a delay of up to 15
seconds at this point, and the OK button I just clicked remains enabled
(blue), but if I look close I see that it is not throbbing. If I do nothing
at this point, the dialog will eventually disappear, and everything is OK.

But if I get impatient, and click on that OK button again during the delay
(sometimes I click several times quickly, trying to hurry it up), the dialog
often never goes away, and the Spinning Blue Ball of Death eventually
appears. At this point, I have to force-quit Moneydance.

Strangely, even after having discerned this pattern, I still can't resist
automatically hitting that button an extra time or two when that dialog
doesn't immediately go away.

One time, I believe I triggered a slight variation on this. Needing to enter
several new securities, instead of clicking on that last OK button, I
clicked the colorless New Security button in that same dialog, and that also
caused a freeze. I'm not as sure of this scenario as I am of the one I
describe above.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this type of problem.
