[moneydance] Issuing loans

As a newbe I'm uncertain how to track the following in Moneydance.

I somewhat regularly purchase items for others on my credit card and 
they pay me back.  I set up a "reimburse" category but am unsure how to 
offset it with payments from those others. 

In the same vein, if I loan an individual money, how best to track their 
payments?
