You can just re-enter the transaction manually.
If you start a new transaction and enter the same Payee as normally
appears in the automatic transaction, it should auto-fill the splits
from the previous transaction with the same name. Then you can edit
those splits and set the Escrow amount to the correct value.
There is no real magic to transactions that are entered automatically
versus manually; you should be able to edit any of them the same way.
You probably were just having trouble finding the way to edit a split
transaction.
I don't use the current build of Moneydance, and I believe the interface
has changed in the latest version that you are probably using, so I
don't think I can describe exactly where you should click in order to
edit splits. Perhaps another list member can help with this.
