You're right that the site itself isn't much help, though if you need to
learn a lot about MD, you could do worse than download all the compressed
archives and concatenate them for searching.

Reminders (aka scheduled transactions) are helpful, but they cannot
compensate for the weakness of a particular kind of reporting.

No, MD keeps track of where they are. I think you're worrying too much on
this point. ;-) It just works. But if you see no need to group accounts,
then don't. You can always change the grouping later. They are of course
automatically grouped on the home page by type of account, and mostly I
don't use any additional grouping -- I just have one special case of
grouped accounts.

I understand. Different institutions use different terminology.
