I have moneydance installed in /opt/moneydance where I have a symbolic
link /opt/moneydance/jre that points to /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.00.
This solved my problem with java6.

I am running Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, so your directory names where Java is
installed should be the same or similar.
