[moneydance] 2007 b2 Budget Question

So I've never played around much with budgets, but with a new year  
comes new resolutions, so I've decided to give it a whirl.  I *think*  
it all makes sense, which makes me wonder if I've not found a bug.   
Though I'm sure I'm just doing it wrong:

In the budget manager I've set up a couple of items for my and my  
wife's salaries.  She get's paid semi monthly, I get paid bi-weekly.   
These items each have their own income category, so in the "Edit  
Budget" window I have entries like:

x,xxx.xx from Salary:Alyce Semi-Monthly 01/15/2007
x,xxx.xx from Salary:Dave Bi-Weekly 01/02/2007

However, as far as the budget graph is concerned, no actual amount  
shows up, either in the graph itself or in the "Actual Amount" column  
in the budget flyout:

Salary:Alyce	01/01/2007 - 01/16/2007	x.xxx,xx	xxx.xx	0.00
Salary:Dave	01/02/2007 - 01/16/2007	x.xxx,xx	xxx.xx	0.00

In the flyout the budgeted and prorated amounts show as I would  
expect, however there should be an actual amount at this point for my  
salary line, shouldn't there be?
