[moneydance] Year-end NW report?

Yes, but you may not like the solution.  :-)

I wrote a Jython program to compute net worth at several points in
time.  However, it's the first "real" program I wrote for Moneydance
and it's really more hack than program.  Nevertheless, it greatly
increased my satisfaction with Moneydance.

To use it, you have to install the Jython extension, then download
my program, _edit the source_ (sorry) for the dates you're interested
in, and run it.  The output goes to files networth.html and networth.txt,
not to the screen.

and look in the right hand column for notes about my files.

I'd like to get back to it, I have figured out paths to write a user
interface on the screen.  Unfortunately, even though HP laid me off
in October, I haven't had time to get to it!  I'll probably start a
new job in a month or so, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

No job sympathy needed, I expect to be working again before the severance
pay is gone.
