[moneydance] Anyone written a Moneydance data massager plug-in?

I find that all too often I'm naughty and download (or import) 
transactions for various banks but don't fully fill out each transaction 
properly at the time causing many transactions to have bogus payee names 
(particularly for ATM/CC purchases) or the wrong category .. Anyway, 
just curious if anyone has tried writing a plug-in that could go in and 
re-write some of the imported purchases (with making a backup of the 
data first) using rules of some sort.. I frequently find that some of my 
banks tag ATM purchases as "PURCHASE" for the payee and then the memo 
field has the name of the company that the purchase was done from (e.g. 
"Safeway...") -- it would be nice to massage these to reflect the 
purchaser properly and discard the "PURCHASE" text since it's not 
helping things.. Another thing that would be nice is to be able to 
re-tag/categorize (whatever you want to call it) a particular payee 
globally in a single account -- e.g. set the category of all "Safeway" 
purchases to "Groceries" or similar.  Anyway, I might try taking a stab 
at this if nobody else has done something similar yet..   Is this 
something others might find of interest beyond just me?
