My thanks to all who helped. I have figured out that my problem was
caused by operator error.
I had set up on-line access to the first of my three Fidelity accounts
using the wrong account number (I guessed at the account # since it is
not in the MD account description) and could not figure out how to get
back to that selection box to select a different account. I disabled
online access to Fidelity and then set it up again. After that I had
securities from two of my Fidelity accounts in the downloaded
transactions box and didn't realize at first that I could just delete
them all and then go back and download just the correct set.
All is well though the categories used when I download transactions are
not the same as I have used over the years. I will either have to edit
those one-by-one or just continue with the manual entry mode.
