Do all your Fidelity transactions have the same account number on the
Fidelity end? That appears to be how Moneydance determines what is in
the same investment account.
I have a 401(k), an IRA, and an individual account at Vanguard. Each
of those three accounts has a different account number, but the
individual securities in the accounts do not. Therefore, all of the
401(k) securities go to the 401(k) account in Moneydance, all the IRA
securities go to the IRA account in Moneydance, and the securities for
the individual account go to that account in Moneydance.
Please note that any "information" I am supplying here comes from
playing with Moneydance, not from actually knowing anything. :)
