[moneydance] Help! - Moneydance won't start

After some more attempts to re-apply J2SE updates by uninstalling and
installing, here's the message I get when attempting to start
Moneydance:

No JVM could be found on your system.
Please define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME
to point to an installed JDK or JRE or download a JRE from www.java.com.

I am still not able to re-apply J2SE updates - installation allways
stops at certain point.
