That's really strange, as I recall it being there even in the test version.
Certainly this is a problem. Probably, you should uninstall, reboot (when in
doubt, reboot) and reinstall. In the meantime, you can use the shortcut, which
is Ctrl-comma.
The PDF version of the help guide is here:
http://moneydance.com/download/doc/Moneydance%202007%20User%20Guide.pdf. The
link for it can also be found here: http://moneydance.com/support, but it's easy
to overlook. I thought it was a link to download Adobe Acrobat, since all it
says is "(PDF)". Somebody should edit this page to make the PDF option more
obvious.
However, I should warn you that it's not nearly as helpful as this email group
and the online support forum. But it's a good start!
I'm really glad I ditched Quicken for Moneydance. I know you will too!
Happy New Year!

I downloaded the free copy of moneydance, and noticed that although
the help guide said that the file menu had a "preferences" option that
allowed you to reconfigure the home page, the test version was missing
this option. I assumed that was because the test version didn't have all of the
features. I purchased moneydance yesterday and am in the process of getting set
up. The downloaded version that I registered still doesn't have the preferences
option on the file menu. Can someone please help me? I have version 2207 r5
(587).
Also, is there a way to download the help guide, so I don't have to keep using
the back button to get to the next topic?
