[moneydance] help: security price not updating with Stock Quote Synchronizer extension

This has never given me a problem in the past, but I can't seem to get
the Stock Quote Synchronizer extension to update a security (stock) I
added to one of my IRA accounts. I bought AFSI recently, added the
security as a stock with that ticker. I've even tried this with a new
MD file with nothing else in it except for the security. I've tried
adding it first via the front page "Stock Prices" section via add
security there. Also tried adding it when entering the IRA account
("You don't have any securities associated with this account, would
you like to add one?") as it was the first security in that account.
And I've tried running the extension before and after I entered the
AFSI purchase transaction in the account register.

Either way, the extension updates all of my other securities, and even
looks like it updates this one if I watch the tickers scroll by in the
status bar while the extension runs, but the price never changes in
MD.

Disclaimer...when I first added this security I found the price was
updating but to inaccurate prices compared against Yahoo Finance's
closing price. The extension uses Y! Finance as its source, so they
should have matched. And, the extension was run well after market
close. So, something was wrong from the start. I went into the price
history view/window of the ticker and manually adjusted the closing
price for one day. Since then I've had no luck. But I thought that
by starting a new MD file I could avoid any issues I may have
introduced by doing that manual change. In fact, I've tried removing
the security and looking for any string matches of it in my MD file
and found none. So if the problem is lingering from that original
manual edit, I don't know where the state is preserved.

Any help appreciated. I'm looking fwd to MD 2008, curious what is in store.
Thanks,
BR
