[moneydance] Net worth graph weirdness

I am tracking my investments with Moneydance.

Imagine it's Monday evening, 11:59pm. I have just updated stock 
quotes with the extension. I plot a net worth graph and note my net 
worth today, Monday.

Now I wait until 12:01am Tuesday morning. I plot a new net worth 
graph. This gives me a different value for Monday's net worth. Also, 
there is a third value, different to the two Monday values for 
Tuesday's net worth, even though I have done nothing in the two 
minutes between plotting the graphs.

Any ideas what is happening? Why three different values, when nothing 
has changed except the date? Incidentally on both graphs the net 
worth values for earlier days are identical.
