Hello,
I'm trying to install latest Moneydance downloaded from moneydance.com today
(I don't see any way to tell the version) and get an empty setup window.
Environment:
Debian Etch amd64 (i.e. "stable") with some packages from "Lenny" (i.e.
"testing").
Running on Intel Core 2 Duo
I tried to run the installation script in two environments:
1. The "standard" amd64 environment with Sun Java 1.6.0-b105
2. A 32-bit chroot environment with Sun Java 1.5.0_10-b03
In both environments I get identical behaviour - the script prints "Starting
Installer ..." and then a new window pops-up with title "Setup - Moneydance
2007" but the pop-up window is empty and just sits there. According to "top"
this process does nothing.
Clicking anywhere inside the window does give any response.
Clicking on the window manager "kill window" button pops-up a warning window
titled "Setup" saying "Setup is not complete... Exit Setup?" and Yes/No
buttons.
There is no output on the terminal from which I executed the setup script
after the "Starting Installer ...".
Any ideas on what should I look for?
Thanks,
